# Capacity packs and add-ons

> Add extra forms, journeys, or segments to your plan, and enable WhatsApp or Telegram messaging.

Capacity packs let you raise specific limits without changing your plan. Messaging add-ons enable WhatsApp and Telegram channels on any plan.

> **Important** Capacity packs require a paid subscription (Lite or above). They cannot be added to the free Starter plan.

## Capacity packs

A capacity pack adds extra forms, journeys, or segments on top of your plan's included limits. Packs are billed monthly and appear as a line item alongside your subscription.

**To buy a capacity pack:**

1. Go to **Settings → Billing**.
2. Click **Manage capacity**.
3. Select the pack you want and click its **Add** button — the pack's monthly price is shown there.

The extra capacity is available immediately.

**To remove a capacity pack:**

1. Go to **Settings → Billing**.
2. Click **Manage capacity**.
3. Find the active pack and click the remove icon.
4. Confirm. Your billing is credited for the unused portion.

> **Note** If removing a pack would drop a limit below your current usage, you'll see a warning. Your existing items stay — but you cannot create new ones until your usage is below the lower cap.

## Messaging add-ons

WhatsApp and Telegram are available as monthly add-ons on any paid plan.

| Add-on | What's included |
|---|---|
| **WhatsApp** | WhatsApp Business API, message templates, 1,000 conversations/month. |
| **Telegram** | Telegram Bot API, broadcast campaigns, unlimited messaging. |

> **Pricing** For current add-on prices, see [Caramel pricing](https://joincaramel.com/pricing/).

> **Note** WhatsApp requires Growth or above; Telegram requires Business or above. The messaging add-on must also be active. See [Channels](../marketing/channels/index) for setup instructions.

**To enable a messaging add-on:**

1. Go to **Settings → Billing**.
2. Find the messaging add-ons section and click the add-on you want.
3. Confirm the monthly charge.

Once active, configure the channel in **Settings → Channels**. See [WhatsApp setup](../marketing/channels/whatsapp) or [Telegram setup](../marketing/channels/telegram).
