# Choose a plan

> Compare Caramel's plans — Starter, Lite, Growth, Business, and Enterprise — and pick the right one.

Caramel has 5 plans, from a free Starter tier to a custom Enterprise option. You choose a plan during the onboarding wizard and can upgrade at any time from **Settings → Billing**.

Form submissions are unlimited on every plan.

## The Lifetime grant

A **Lifetime grant** is an admin-issued access level — not a self-serve purchase. It gives permanent access to all 6 messaging channels, with usage caps matching the Business plan. AI generation requires your own API key (Anthropic or OpenAI). Contact support for details.

## Change your plan

1. Go to **Settings → Billing**.
2. Click **Upgrade** or **Change plan**.
3. Select the plan you want and complete checkout.

> **Tip** Trial businesses start on the Starter plan with a 14-day Business-tier trial — no card required. You keep the Starter features after the trial ends unless you upgrade.
