# AI Campaign Generator

> Describe a campaign goal in plain language and let the AI build the journey, messages, and audience for you.

The AI Campaign Generator turns a plain-language brief into a complete, ready-to-deploy marketing campaign — including the journey logic, channel messages, and audience segment.

> **Plan** Available on Lite and above. The number of AI credits consumed per campaign varies by campaign size. View your remaining credits under **Billing → Usage**.

## Before you begin

- Enable at least one channel under **Settings → Channels**. See [Channels](channels/index).
- Have a clear goal in mind: welcome new customers, win back lapsed ones, promote an offer, or celebrate a milestone.

## Step 1 — Choose a goal

1. Go to `/business/:id/marketing/ai-generator`.
2. Select a goal card — **Welcome**, **Win back**, **Celebrate**, or **Promote** — or choose **Custom** to write your own brief.
3. On the next screen, confirm whether you want a **Journey** (ongoing, automated) or a **Broadcast** (one-time send).

> **Tip** Not sure which to pick? Use a Journey for "every new customer gets this series" and a Broadcast for "this promotion goes out once on Friday."

## Step 2 — Write your brief

Type a description of what you want the campaign to do. Be as specific or as open as you like. For example:

- "Welcome new customers with a 3-email series over 7 days, introduce our top products in email 2."
- "Re-engage customers who haven't ordered in 60 days with an SMS and a 10% discount."

Click **Generate campaign**.

## Step 3 — Review and refine

The AI produces a draft with all messages and journey logic. Review each step:

- Click any message to edit the copy directly in the **Direct Edit** panel.
- Use the **Refine** button to send a follow-up instruction to the AI ("make email 2 shorter" or "add a delay of 3 days before the last message").
- Check the **Quality report** for any validation issues before deploying.

> **Note** The AI uses one AI credit per generation and additional credits for refinements. You can see credit cost estimates before confirming a refinement.

## Step 4 — Deploy

1. Once the checklist shows all items complete, click **Deploy campaign**.
2. For a Journey, it activates immediately and runs automatically for every qualifying customer going forward.
3. For a Broadcast, confirm the send time.

After deployment, the campaign appears in your **Omnichannel** campaign list at `/business/:id/marketing`.
