# Broadcasts

> Send a one-time message to a segment of customers — for promotions, announcements, or events.

A Broadcast is a one-time send to a segment. Use it for promotions, seasonal announcements, event invitations, or any message you want to go out once to a defined audience.

Unlike Journeys, a Broadcast runs once on a schedule you set. The same customer can receive a Broadcast again if you send another one to the same segment.

> **Plan** Available on Growth and above (Omnichannel module).

## Open Broadcasts

Go to `/business/:id/marketing` and click the **Broadcasts** tab, or navigate via **Omnichannel → Broadcasts** (`?component=broadcasts`).

## Create a broadcast

### Option A — use the AI Generator

1. Go to the [AI Campaign Generator](ai-campaign-generator).
2. On the path-selection screen, select a goal and then choose **Broadcast** as the campaign type.
3. Write your brief, review the draft, and deploy. The broadcast is scheduled immediately.

### Option B — build it directly

1. On the Broadcasts tab, click **+ New broadcast**.
2. Choose a **Segment** — the audience for this send. If you don't have the right segment, create one on the **Segments** tab first.
3. Choose a **Channel** (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, or Push) and select or create a template.
4. Set a send time — **Send now** or schedule for a later date and time.
5. Click **Send** (or **Schedule**).

> **Tip** Create your template in advance under **Omnichannel → Templates** so you can reuse it across multiple broadcasts.

## Broadcast status

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Draft** | Saved but not scheduled or sent. |
| **Scheduled** | Will send at the time you specified. You can cancel before the send time. |
| **Sending** | In progress — cannot be cancelled. |
| **Sent** | Delivery complete. Results available in analytics. |

## Cancel a scheduled broadcast

Open the broadcast from the list and click **Cancel** before the scheduled send time. Cancelling after a broadcast starts sending is not possible.
