Create your account
Caramel uses email-based sign-in. Most actions — signing up and signing in — are done with a magic link sent to your inbox, so you don’t need to remember a password.
Sign up
Section titled “Sign up”- Go to app.caramelme.com.
- Enter your email address and click Sign Up.
- Check your inbox for a confirmation link and click it to activate your account.
- You’ll be taken straight to the business setup wizard.
Tip If you were invited by a colleague, click the link in the invitation email instead. Your email is pre-filled and the steps below for setting a password apply to you.
Sign in
Section titled “Sign in”Caramel signs you in with a magic link — no password required for regular accounts.
- Go to app.caramelme.com.
- Enter your email and click Send magic link.
- Check your inbox and click the link. It expires after 5 minutes.
Note Magic links are single-use. If the link has expired or you’ve already clicked it, return to the sign-in page and request a new one.
Reset your password
Section titled “Reset your password”If you set a password during sign-up and need to change it:
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot password?.
- Enter your email and click Reset email.
- Check your inbox for a reset link and follow it to set a new password.
Note After resetting, you can manage your password from Settings → Profile.
Set up a password from an invitation
Section titled “Set up a password from an invitation”When a business owner invites you to join their workspace:
- Open the invitation email and click the link.
- Your email address is pre-filled on the sign-in page.
- Click Send magic link to receive a sign-in link, or click Forgot password? to set a password for your account.
- Once signed in, you’ll land directly in the shared business dashboard.
Important Invitation links expire. If yours has expired, ask the business owner to resend the invitation from Settings → Team.
