Supported languages and currencies

Caramel’s dashboard is available in 5 languages, and Caramel accepts payments and displays customer-facing content in more than 60 currencies.

The following languages are fully supported across the Caramel dashboard, forms, and customer-facing pages:

LanguageCode
Englishen
Spanishes
Frenchfr
Germande
Italianit

Caramel detects your preferred language from your browser settings when you sign in for the first time. To change it after setup:

  1. Go to Settings → Profile.
  2. Under Language, choose your preferred language from the dropdown.
  3. Click Save. The interface updates immediately.

Note The interface language you set applies to your account only. Teammates who share the same business workspace can each set their own language preference independently.

Your language setting affects:

  • The Caramel dashboard (menus, labels, buttons, and messages)
  • Forms you publish to your customers (field labels, submit button text, success messages)
  • System-generated email notifications sent by Caramel

Marketing content you write yourself — journey messages, broadcast copy, templates — is not auto-translated. If you want to send campaigns in multiple languages, create separate templates for each language.

Tip Caramel’s built-in form templates include translations in all 5 languages. When you start from a template, field labels and button text are already translated. See Start from a template.

Caramel supports 60+ currencies. The default is USD (US Dollar).

Your currency is set per business during onboarding. To change it after setup, go to Settings → Business and update the Currency field.

Common currencies include:

CurrencyCode
US DollarUSD
EuroEUR
British PoundGBP
UAE DirhamAED
Saudi RiyalSAR
Canadian DollarCAD
Australian DollarAUD
Swiss FrancCHF
Japanese YenJPY
Indian RupeeINR

The full list of supported currencies is shown in the currency picker during business setup.

Note Currency affects how monetary values are displayed in your customer profiles and analytics. It does not affect your Caramel subscription billing, which is charged in euros (€).
