Form analytics

The Analytics tab gives you a real-time view of how each form is performing — from top-line conversion rate down to individual field drop-off.

  1. Go to /business/:id/forms.
  2. Select a form.
  3. Click the Analytics tab.
MetricWhat it measures
ViewsNumber of times the form loaded (unique and total)
SubmissionsNumber of successfully submitted forms
Conversion rateSubmissions ÷ views, expressed as a percentage
Mobile rateShare of views that came from a mobile device

Each metric shows the current period’s value and a percentage trend compared to the previous period.

The funnel shows where visitors drop off between loading the form and submitting it. For multi-step forms, each step appears as a separate stage so you can see which step has the highest exit rate.

The field performance table shows how long visitors spent on each field, how often they left it blank, and whether they triggered a validation error. Use this to identify confusing or friction-heavy fields.

The sources table shows which UTM parameters drove traffic to your form. Caramel captures utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term automatically from the URL.

Tip Add UTM parameters to any link pointing at your form’s hosted URL or embed page to track which campaigns or channels drive the most conversions.

The device breakdown shows the split of form views between desktop, tablet, and mobile. Use this when deciding whether to simplify a long form or enable multi-step mode for mobile visitors.

Click Export in the analytics view to download the current data as a CSV.

If you have an active or completed A/B test on the form, test results appear in the analytics view alongside the main metrics. See A/B testing for details.
