Navigate your dashboard

When you open a business, you land on Home — your overview of how the business is performing and what to do next. The sidebar on the left gives you access to every area of Caramel.

Home shows a real-time snapshot of your business. What you see depends on how far along your setup is:

  • During setup — the Getting Started checklist appears (see Onboarding checklist) alongside key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • After setup — KPIs, your most recent marketing activity, top automations, and next best actions to grow engagement.

The KPI cards at the top cover metrics like total customers, recent form submissions, and active campaigns. Exact cards shown depend on which features are active.

Note The Home view is visible to Owners and Managers only. Employees see a limited view.

The sidebar collapses to icons — click the panel icon at the top of the sidebar to toggle it.

Some sidebar items show a lock icon or a Premium badge when a feature requires an upgrade or special access. Click a locked item to see upgrade options or request access.

Tip Click All businesses (the back arrow at the top of the sidebar) to switch between workspaces or create a new one.
